Camaraderie awaits you at a secluded campsite

After a few hours of exploring and fishing, you'll head for shore and one of our campsites. There, the camp jack will greet you and invite you to take a seat around the crackling fire. Wood smoke mingles with the scent of spruce and cedar from the surrounding rain forest as you laugh with fellow explorers and exchange "big fish" tales. Warm up with a steaming cup of coffee or cocoa while your guide demonstrates cleaning and preparing the fish for cooking. This is the Alaskan way.

Fishermen's Choice
When it's time to eat, many fisherman say they prefer freshly caught rockfish or a delicate white halibut over salmon.

Authentic Campsite
Beachcombed log seats, blue enamel plates, canvas tarps, and freshly split cedar firewood recall the fish camps of the '40s and '50s.

Au Natural
Yes, even the restrooms are . . . authentic. A driftwood enclosure under the forest canopy offers women the necessary privacy. For men it's between them and the forest.
